ABOUT US

Originally formed in July 2020 by Founder Helen when she found out about Brighton and Hove council's plan to 'develop' a section of the space for housing, the Benfield Valley Project is a Constituted Community Group (CCG) that seeks to preserve and protect our local wildlife and improve the local community’s connection to the green spaces throughout the Benfield Valley.

We collaborate with local wildlife and community groups to organise community events and initiatives which ensure that the beauty and ecological value of Benfield Valley is highlighted and safeguarded for generations to come.

Our guiding principles are ecology, community and sustainability.
